Our Mission
The Ohio Auto & Mobility Workforce Navigator was created to help workers in Union County, Ohio and surrounding areas prepare for the transformation happening in auto manufacturing. With Honda's $4.4 billion investment in Marysville, thousands of new jobs are being created that require specialized skills in battery technology, high-voltage systems, robotics, and advanced manufacturing—skills that apply across modern powertrains.

Presidential AI Challenge
The Ohio Auto & Mobility Workforce Navigator was developed for the Presidential AI Challenge - Track II Technical Implementation. This competition encourages the development of AI solutions that address real-world workforce challenges.
Our focus on Union County, Ohio reflects the significant economic transformation happening in the region as Honda invests billions in advanced auto manufacturing at their Marysville facility.
This challenge was established by Executive Order 14277, “Advancing Artificial Intelligence Education for American Youth,” which calls on Americans to harness AI for workforce development and strengthen our nation's competitiveness in advanced manufacturing.

“How can AI technologies be used to help people get better jobs?”
Our AI analyzes your existing skills and matches them to high-paying advanced manufacturing roles ($45K-$95K), showing exactly which positions you're qualified for and the steps to reach even higher-paying roles. The readiness score and gap analysis provide a clear pathway to career advancement.
“How can AI technologies be used to develop and advertise apprenticeship programs to train skilled workers in construction or manufacturing?”
We provide personalized training pathways connecting users to 25+ local Ohio programs at career centers and community colleges, complete with costs, timelines, contact information, and financial aid resources including WIOA funding and Pell Grants.
“How can AI technologies be used to identify job skills or 'skills report cards' to accompany students' academic transcripts?”
Our AI extracts skills from resumes, maps them to O*NET occupational competencies, and generates a professional Skills Report Card that users can download and share with employers, training providers, and workforce development agencies.
